Your Questions, Answered

  • I am based in Cheltenham and work across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, including Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire. For larger, full-day events I am happy to travel further, including Birmingham and the wider Midlands, depending on the scale of the celebration.

  • I specialise in intimate, beautifully curated gatherings such as milestone birthdays, family celebrations, garden parties, private dining experiences and special occasions at home. My focus is on creating thoughtful, design-led events that feel personal, relaxed and memorable.

  • My work goes beyond a traditional buffet. Food is styled as part of the overall experience, carefully presented to become a visual centrepiece for the event. Each grazing table or styled food display is designed to surprise guests and create a moment of connection and conversation.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email (hello@bespokebyj.co.uk). We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • I can accommodate many dietary requirements where possible. However, all food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens including nuts, dairy and gluten, so there is always a risk of trace contamination. I am transparent about this and will always discuss any allergies in advance so you can make an informed decision.

  • Yes. I have a curated selection of linens, serving pieces and styling elements that can be used to create elegant tablescapes and food displays. If you would like a bespoke theme or specific items, I can source these on your behalf. Any additional décor or hire costs are covered by the client.

  • Florals can be incorporated into your tablescape depending on the style and season. I often use natural, seasonal arrangements that complement the overall design. For larger installations or specific floral concepts, I can collaborate with trusted florists and coordinate the sourcing.

  • I offer both. Clients can choose full event planning, where I manage everything from concept through to the day itself, or tablescape styling and set-up for those who simply want their table and food presentation elevated.

  • For full event planning or larger celebrations, I recommend booking at least 6–8 weeks in advance to allow time for thoughtful planning and sourcing. Tablescape styling and grazing boxes may be available with shorter notice depending on availability.

  • For event planning and tablescape services, I manage the set-up and styling on the day so everything is ready for your guests. Collection or clear-down arrangements will be discussed depending on the scale of the event.

  • The best place to begin is with a personal consultation, where we can discuss your vision, guest numbers and the type of experience you’d like to create.

  • Yes. This is my favourite type of event: focusing on the host and creating something that truly reflects them enabling them to be present and enjoy with their guests.

  • Yes I do- there is a £5 delivery fee.

  • Yes I can. During the consultation call my aim is to look at what you already have at home to keep costs for new items at a minimum.

  • Everything I create is bespoke and unique to each client. Factors I consider are the number of guests, the type of services required and the time that will be required to ensure it is to the standard my clients expect from me.
